Motorcycle Plate Number and Certificate of Registration

Just got my motorcycle plate number from Motor Ace Inc, Philippines, Jagna, Bohol branch this afternoon when I went there to pay for the monthly payment of my motorcycle loan. My monthly payment amount is Php 3,052.00 pesos but I paid only amounting to Php 2,852.00 pesos due to the deduction of rebate which is Php 200.00 pesos which is a big help for me because this Php 200.00 pesos is big amount of money here in our place in which we can buy more food or other things we want to buy. I was able to get a less of 200 pesos because I paid at the right date of my payment schedule monthly. I also brought the plate number together with the Official Receipt and the registration documents from the Land Transportation Office (LTO) when I went home and was so happy because I can now travel safe without any worrying that I might be caught by an officer of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) or even a local Police especially that now a days the government here is very strict about vehicle driving. The Local Government Unit (LGU) are assigning policemen to have a check point in almost all of the towns so it is very safe to have these requirements, likewise one of the most important thing is the Driver’s License in which I just recently apply at the Local Transportation Office (LTO). Really feel glad to get those requirements smoothly and it takes a short time only to complete the processing of these requirements.

Below you can find my Legal documents together with my Driver’s License; I also included my motorcycle photo (Red Fury Kawasaki motorcycle).

Awesome Places - Abaca Chair

While walking beside the sea shore where there are plenty of restaurant to choose from for dining and drinking some juices and some liquor we saw a lot of beautiful spots at the place the first one we saw is this unique chair made of Abaca Tree and surrounded with beautiful flowers. My wife can not wait to take a picture sitting on this chair, I really love to sit with this chair because it is very relaxing and my first impression of this chair when I saw it, thought that it is not  strong and not good to sit but when I tried sitting down and pose for a pictorial, wow! It is very relaxing to sit and you can lay down on this to if you want to take a rest. Haha, I am forced to pose like this though I am not fun taking photos on myself because I am a shy type of person and I am not looking good in front of the camera but then, because of this beautiful spot and for my wife's request. Yes I did! And not bad to look at all and feel great to see this photo as a remembrance of our outing and family bounding. We did consider it as a date for the two of us and we were so happy to be together hanging out on this wonderful place.

Kerosene Lamp

And God said written at the book of Genesis chapter 1 verse 3, "Let there be light," and there was light. 2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. These bible verses are famous because at we all know that god created light first before creating everything on earth right? I just love this verses that I included it here in my article about the kerosene lamp I found at one of the restaurant we used to eat our dinner. While waiting for our ordered food I looked for some things to take a picture and I found this pretty kerosene lamp on our table and I did took a picture of it on this view.

I just love the design of this kerosene lamp and because it made up of a glass this one looks great for me because most of us here in our place before we used a kerosene lamp but that was made of “Cans” a sardine cans, other people uses small bottles and put a kerosene inside and a piece of cloth where it fire.
Kerosene lamps are very useful for people who lived in mountain area where there is no electricity and at the same time is a necessity if your electricity goes out (Brown out / Black out), but they also provide a cozy and romantic atmosphere.
Here is a tutorial on how to make a Kerosene Lamp at home. First of all you’ll need to prepare these materials:

(Robe Fibers, Old cotton shirt, Old shoelaces, Old paper bags, Salt, Water, Cotton balls, Gauze, Yam)

Follow this Guide:
1. Make wicks from old paper bags. Cut the paper bags into strips measuring 3 by 10 inches. Roll and twist the strips from one end to the other. Then, dip the strips in 2 cups of water mixed with ¼ cup salt. Air-dry the paper wicks on a tray overnight before using. The salt on the wicks prevents the paper from charring as it burns.
2. Make wicks using cotton balls. Loosen the fibers of three cotton balls by unraveling the cotton fibers to stretch the cotton to an elongated shape. Then, place the elongated cotton balls on a flat surface. Connect the ends of the three elongated cotton balls by overlapping ½ inch of the bottom part of the first cotton ball to ½ inch of top part of the second one; repeat this for the third cotton ball. Then, using your fingers, roll them up together tightly to produce a long wick.
3. Use gauze--similar to that used to dress wounds--to make wicks. You can purchase a roll of gauze from a pharmacy or department store, or you can buy ¼ yard of gauze from a fabric store. Then, cut it in strips measuring 3 inches wide and the length you need for your kerosene lamp. For average-sized kerosene lamp, up to 10 inches long should work.
4. Use knitting yarn to make wicks. Cut three pieces of yarn measuring 10 inches long each. Then, loosely braid them together. Tie a knot on the top and bottom ends of the braid to keep it from unraveling.
5. Use rope fibers as wicks. Use ropes made from trees and not the synthetic or plastic types. Loosely wind together several strands of rope fibers--enough to fit the opening of your kerosene lamp--or make a braid using the method described in Step 4. Dip the rope fiber wick in salted water to prevent charring (see Step 1).
6. Make wicks using old cotton shirts. Cut the shirts in strips the will fit into the kerosene lamp opening. Insert one piece through the opening, leaving enough fabric outside to hold the flame.
7. Use old shoelaces to make wicks. You can braid two or three shoelaces together, depending on the size of your lamp opening.
But there are a lot of ways to create a Kerosene Lamp it depends on what materials are available at home, you can either create a lamp made of sardine cans so that you don’t need to spend money to create one. All you need is to find a disposed sardine cans and a piece of cloth.

Unique Things Found at the Resort

Flippers, swim-fins or foot fins for divers. According to www.wikipedia.com this are worn on the foot or leg and made from fin-like rubber or plastic, to aid movement through the water in water sports activities such as swimming body-boarding, body surfing, knee-boarding, river boarding and various types of underwater diving. But the foot fins you saw above is a different kind of fins because this one is made of wood, it can not be wear by any divers because the size of this one is just like the size of a mobile phones.
This is just a key holder foot fins I took a picture because it's a unique key holder for me and I haven't seen a foot fins key holder before. If you take a look at the photo you can find that it is big and can be use by people for diving but it is not, some local people especially those fishermen here in the Philippines uses also a wooden foot fins they made their own foot fins and used it when they are catching fish for them to swim faster than the way they swim on their own feet without using this equipment. But this one is just a key holder with attached the keys from the rooms we rented it a nice and unique key holder made of wood.
I love to bring this foot fins at home when we depart from the resort and make it as a souvenir, a remembrance from the place but I can't do that since this one is not for sale so I looked for something unique things at the resort and found this very awesome Sea Shell beside the sea and this one is for sale so I can take this one home.
This is really Amazing and awesome creation of a Sea Shell where they put some creatures inside the shell, according to the salesman who was selling this souvenir to us this cost Php150.00 pesos. You will surely buy this shell if you see it in person because of its beauty and uniqueness. As you can see there are star fish, another small shell and a small crab inserted inside which attracts the most about this shell.
I remember back when I was young, collecting this kind of shell in our place there are a lot of shell like this but we collected the small one and we used it for playing together with my friends the game was like a marble game in which we need to shoot the shells into the three holes created in a form of triangle at the land or soil. It is a capturing game in which if you shoot the shell through spinning it going into the holes and if you shoot it perfectly all of your opponents shell will be yours. We called this shell in our local dialect as "Buskay"

Bohol Divers Club Panglao, Bohol - Overnight Swimming

It’s Monday August 20, 2012 first day of the week and it’s a Holiday here in our country because it is a day of celebration and a respect for the remembrance of our former Philippine President Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino, the father of our present President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino also known as P-noy.
It’s time to have an Family outing, but this time not with my family side but together with my in-laws, its 14:30 hours when we prepare the foods and things to bring for the outing since my mother in law has a boutique Located at Jagna Market, town of Jagna Bohol Philippines, she started to close the store and move on to the beach. 2 hours of traveling from our departure place to our destination as we drive slowly because the car capacity is full.
As we arrived at our destination it is a great surprise because at first impression of the place is so boring we can’t even see beautiful design of the place, and we have no idea of what is this resort. Excitedly walk together with my wife’s brother and uncle down the stair going to the beach and here it is the surprising part of this place. A few steps away from the entrance of this resort is the long and white sand beach who captured our eyes together with the breeze of the wind I feel in my whole body and face it was so fresh.
A lot of surprises as we went over to the place and take a tour of the surrounding, there are a lot of beautiful places and of those are the restaurants and bars standing before us and the whole place was full of bars and restaurant with a lot of international and foreign people eating and drinking it feels like we are not in the Philippines. We just feel that we are standing at other countries like United States of America of other countries which have beautiful places. Continuing, we rented four (4) rooms because we are all 10 people and we need to divide ourselves into four (4) rooms. I and my wife had our own room and others do have their own rooms too.
5 o’clock in the afternoon when we started to prepare for our foods to eat; I got a picture of the food we bring to eat for our dinner for us to have a less spending for we know that the foods on this place are too expensive for us to buy. It’s dinner time, we do have rice, sweet potato or we called it “Camote” in our local dialect we do have fried fish, sweet and sour fish “Iscabetsi” do I spelled it right or wrong I don’t really know the correct spelling of the word, we also have shrimps and some meet. We also brought some drinks soft and hard drinks to drinks after we eat and for our overnight swimming.
Oh yeah! I almost forgot to mention the name of the place we are in. Can anyone guess one of the beautiful beaches in Panglao Island, an Island of Bohol Province which is a famous place for beautiful beaches? We just arrive and stayed inn at BOHOL DIVERS CLUB Panglao Bohol.

Here is a photo at the entrance of the Resort while still waiting our companion checking in at the counter area we can not wait for the pictorial at the site.

Of course, yours truly take the first picture at the Resort when I was sitting beside the flowers at the parking area of the resort my wife try to steal a shot on me but I saw her shooting me so I did turn and face on her to get a great shot. After having my first picture I also took my wife because I know that she is the one who is very addicted on taking photos herself, everywhere we go she really loves to take a picture as a remembrance of our tour and outing and also she loved to upload and post some her photos at www.facebook.com. She actually has a lot of photos at the site because every time we went to other places she can not wait and I can not stop her of taking a picture.
Here she is on her first photo of this event beside the car we are riding when we travel going to this place it a black adventure car. I started to notice the beauty of this resort after I took her a picture as I saw that the building at the back is so nice and great, those rooms at the building are for rent and according to the in-charge of the resort that most of the rooms are fully occupied therefor we beg for some rooms for us to stay and thank god we found some room available but there are no more air conditioned rooms left so we just accept the room though only electric fans are available for us to stay at this beautiful place.
A photo of us from left to right: Yours truly, my mother in law, my brother in law and my wife's uncle he is the wife of my mother in law's younger sister. At the back you can see a building and it does belong to Bohol Divers Club Resort, also there is a circle form swimming pool at the back but I missed to take a photo of the pool because we are excited to go to the beach to see how beautiful the beach and the white sand of the resort so we continued moving on forward to the beach.
This is the building where we stayed in, we rented (4) four rooms on this building for us to occupied by partners because we are 10 people so we need to divide ourselves. The man sitting at the entrance of the second room is my wife's uncle. The rooms we rented are from room number 6 which located at the other building and this is the only air conditioned room available because most room are occupied so the other 3 rooms only have electric fan, room is occupied by my 2 brother in laws namely: Oliver "Kuya" as what they called him and he's the older brother and Sherwin "Pipoy" the youngest, 2 aunts which are the sisters of my mother in law namely: Manang Ajing and Insi Belen, the daughter of aunt Ajing named Ivy Rose, and Insi Belen's Husband Manong Meo. They all occupied on the big and air conditioned room because they are many while we and others are occupying the small room which only 2 persons can occupied. I and my wife are at room 24 which you can see at the photo above the fourth (4Th) room from right to left while others are at room 22 and 27. We are all set and leaved our baggage at the room we are staying with and immediately went down and go to the beach to swim and enjoy our outing time.
A front view of the Building where we stayed in while the crews of this resort preparing for our rooms arranging the bed I got a chance to take some pictures and I did took this view while my brother in law saw a dead coconut, he took it and make a pose and I did took him a picture. Great shot I did, you can see the full view of the building and I am sure you find it great as what I had observed.
Here comes darkness and it's great to see the night's view of this resort, look at the beauty of the lights from that building. I took a picture of this one by the way that building was the one posted above, the upper part of this building is a restaurant where we eat our meals the next day while the ground part is a divers gear rental area. I enjoy eating because they offer "Eat all you can" and the foods are very delicious, I actually took a picture of the foods we eat.
